Septic Tank/Cesspool Pumping & Cleaning

We use modern vacuum equipment to thoroughly remove all liquids and sludge from the septic tank/cesspool.  We utilize a process of backflushing to clean walls and bottom of the tank/cesspool. A brief inspection is conducted after the cleaning to check the integrity of the tank/cesspool, make sure all baffles are in place and not clogged and check to make sure there are no liquids flowing back in from the outlet.

Onlot Wastewater Inspection

These inspections are done by following the PSMA and NOF (National Onsite Foundation) guidelines and standards.  At the conclusion of a complete septic inspection (from house to absorption area) you will receive a detailed report of the system and any recommended or required repairs.  The septic tank must be pumped at time of inspection to check all internal compartments.

Tank and Drainfield Locating

Probing: This is a steel rod that we use to probe around the area to locate the septic tank or drainfield.

Electronic Indicator: This is a flushable transmitter that goes through the line to the tank and is located via a receiver. This method is void if the line has a blockage.

Camera: Is put into the outlet pipe of your septic tank to aid in locating absorption areas that may be too deep to locate with general hand tools.

Septic System Installations & Repairs

We completely install septic systems from start to finish. Please refer to "My septic system has failed.  What do I do now?" for a step-by-step process.

Soil Testing

Soil Probe: This is the first test that is required for new or replacement septic systems.  This test is conducted by a township employed SEO to evaluate the soil content on your property.  We do the excavating.

Percolation Test: This second test measures the percolation rate of the soil.  We prepare the percolation holes but it is conducted by the township employed SEO.

Permits must be obtained for all soil testing prior to excavating.

Riser & Lids

Riser: This is a heavy-duty corrugated material that is cut to customer specifications to bring the manhole access to ground level. This also eliminates any further digging for proper maintenance of septic tank.

Lids: We currently use reinforced concrete manhole covers in 22'' or 28'' diameter.  We can also custom build a lid to meet your needs.

Pump Repairs

We can completely replace or repair a malfunctioning pump (i.e. floats, electrical repairs including junction boxes, pipe repair and upgrading).

Line Inspection (using a camera)

This is a color view micro-camera that travels through the line to give an accurate diagnosis of problems within a pipe.  This camera will also give exact measurements underground where the problem may be so you know exactly where to dig.  This will fit pipes 2'' to 6'' in diameter. This  process can be captured on videotape and viewed at later times to explain diagnosis.

Drain Cleaning & Repairs

Powered Snake: This is an electric coil that has various size tips that snap on the end to clean lines from grease, roots and solid sludge matter.  It will clear pipes from 1 1/4'' to 6'' in diameter.

Water Jet: This is a high pressure water cleaner designed to thoroughly clean debris from drain lines. This will clean pipes from 1 1/4'' to 8'' in diameter.

Dye Testing

With this test we induce a colored dye into the system by flushing the dye and running water for 20 minutes to observe if and where there is surface discharge taking place.
