Pumping & Cleaning - To keep your septic system operating smoothly, routine septic tank pumping & cleaning is necessary. Our technicians are trained to not only pump and clean your tanks, but they "backflush" as many times as needed to clean the solids out and examine the tank to check for cracks, leaks, and broken baffles. Click here for more information on scheduling your routine pumping and cleaning.

Mandatory Pumping Inspections - We are registered to pump and haul in all mandatory pumping townships in Lancaster County. There is no extra charge to perform the inspection.

Repair Services Provided

Sewer Snake - This is an electric coil that has various size tips to clean lines from grease, roots, and solid sludge matter.

Water Jetty - This is a high pressure water cleaner designed to clean debris from drain lines.

Pump Repairs - We can repair or replace a malfunctioning pump used in a pump tank. This also includes the floats, electrical repairs, and pipes that are used in a pump tank. Fins Environmental Service, LLC exclusively uses Goulds pumps.

Sewer Camera Inspection - This is a color micro view camera used to diagnose problems within pipes. It will also give exact measurements of the location of the malfunction so you know where to dig. This can also be recorded on a VHS tape and viewed at a later date.

Risers & Lids - We install heavy duty corrugated plastic risers on top of septic tanks. These bring the tank lids to the surface so that the need to dig for a routine pumping & cleaning is not necessary. We also carry concrete septic tank lids to fit on top of risers or septic tanks. Custom lids are also available.

System Installation Services Provided

Soil Probe & Percolation Test - Once a septic system has failed, the first step to installing a new system is the soil probe & percolation test. These test, done in conjunction with the township Sewage Enforcement Officer, determine the type and size of system needed to meet your family's needs.

Fins Environmental Service, LLC will obtain all permits required for these tests and complete a PAOne call to verify any utilities in the area.

Septic System Design - Once the soil probe & percolation test is complete and the results have been returned, our on-staff certified Sewage Enforcement Officer can design a septic system to meet all the requirements outlined in the soil testing results.

Septic System Installation - Upon the approval of the septic system design from the township SEO, we can install your new septic system. Fins Environmental Service, LLC has all the equipment necessary to install the new septic tanks, dig out the absorption area, fill the area with aggregate, lay the pipe, and grade off the disturbed area.
